Big Three Ready
On Tuesday Ford,Chrysler and G.M. will reveal their business plans for congress .I personally will believe congress will make them work for it but eventually will give the money to the Detroit automakers. I believe Gm will show a partial plan to the law makers because they are trying to avoid any leaks to their opponents.

NOT USING YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD FOR 3 DAYS

As professor Evans indicated in class to not use your credit or debit car for about 3 days and see if it will make a huge difference in your spendings in which I experimented and found out that it really does makes a difference because during those 3 days from the Nov 22- Nov 25 I was tempted to swipe or take out money for a lot of useless items with my card but I manage to not spend the money and I would say I saved up $65 dollars during that time period.

BUS 200 OBAMA PLEDGES

I recently read an article on how Obama is going to manage the financial stimulas package in which he plans to crush all non working government programs that is not working. I think this is a good idea, I believe he is thinking like a CEO because you start from the ground up and thats how you regain your capital so I say this is good management on behalf of his parts, Henry Paulson might want to take some notes or even the bankers and the managements of GM.

Identify a conflict I have recently been involved with, and how was it solved?.

I have recently been involved with a conflict with one of my X co-workers (James) in the Catering company I use to work for. James and I have been working the same amount of years in the company james just have longer than me but I got promoted first and I received a raise before him so after that particular promotion me and James don't see eye to eye and his job performance decreased drastically because of his frustration towards my promotion. I believe there is a conflict because conflict is incompatible behaviors that make another person less effective, but we resolved our issues and differences with some conflict resolving methods of compromise and promise solving.

Identify what the conflict trigger was?
I believe the conflict trigger is unrealized expectations because James had an expectation to be promoted before me but since that never happen it turned into a competitive conflict

What type of conflict it was?
The type of conflict it was it was a Competitive conflict because a it dealt with having opposing goals, mistrust and disbelieves, avoid and win loose.

We almost lost Detroit

I'll start by saying this is one of the finest piece of soul music I've have ever heard. During WWII Detroit was a very important manufacturing line for the government for military weapons for (tanks, aircraft, and amphibious vehicles). The big three (Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler) was a big part of the war because of their huge manufacturing assembly line the U.S. produced more military weapons than any other country in the world.
During the post war Detroit's economy was booming and everybody was happy so more immigrants came to Detroit

MAR/BUS 200 "Bush Praises Obama's Campaign"

"Bush Praises Obama's Campaign"

Bush is praising Obama's campaign because he wants to be remember in a good way and like professor Evan's said everybody will forget the bad things that president Bush did in his time in the office. Bush's strategy to exit the white house in a good manner just like McCain did during his last speech which was wonderfully good.

"The Father of Physics"
NIKOLA, TESLA
Nikola Tesla was one of the greatest underrated inventors of the late 19th and early 20th
century furthermore Mr. Tesla invented many inventions that are critically essential in todays modern world like for example radio transmission or even having wireless electricity in which I don't understand why we can't do such an invention in today's modern world. Nikola was not much of a business man because he could been the first billionaire if he would of accepted Westinghouse contract plus Nikola died with no money.

Microsoft feared Mac vs. Vista comparison

Apple's biggest market share increase came when Microsoft Vista debuted because Apple new Vistas problem so they emphasize their focus on that particular problem in their Marketing Campaign against Microsoft. Microsoft's biggest clients are Business owners across the world, so for Walter Mossberg to grab the attention of Microsoft's biggest consumer and to be comparing it to Apple they new it was going to be big problem.

MAR100/Bus200 Packaging Museum

As you can see the packaging makes a big difference in business because as you can see the new Heinz bottle looks better and juicier than the previous bottle further more Heinz improved in product quality by packaging the bottle in plastic because ketchup is a thixotropic substance and because of that the ketchup is harder to remove from glass container, another reason was for safety reasons and cost effective. packing does make a difference in any business.

Man who sold his name

Famous designer Roy Halston Frowick was a unique minded individual who had an exclusive taste for his fashion ideas. Halston is very popular for the pill box hat he made for Jacqueline Kenndy on her husbands inaguration. Halstons Influence in the fashion industry was very popular.. so much that they even wanted to buy he name and he actually said yes. My believe was with all his drug habits and night life I don't belive he was in the right state of mind when made that decision. Because of not meeting deadlines and being late everyday he got fired from his own company, it's like professor Evans said "time is important in business".

ways to remember bush

I'm witting some notes on some of the thing Bush did as a president.

- Not only did he steal the election the United States had a surplus of 10 trillion dollars when Bush stepped into office and now we have a debt of over 5 trillion dollars.

- In 2000 there were over 35 million americans with no insurance now there is over 60 million americans uninsured

- Mr. Bush pledged to fix social security, help our education and have America be energy independence. Right now social security is worse than ever, "no child left behind policy" left kids behind in school plus gasoline increased to its all time national high at 4 dollars a gallon even some places at 5.

- The unending war we are facing and the money we are investing has left America broke to find itself very close to a depression and the worst financial crisis since the 1930s.

Eveready/Energizer Batteries

Eveready aka Energizer batteries was originally a flashlight company in late 19th century and was founded in 1896 by Joshua Lionel Cowen and later patents to Conrad Hubert which I believe he was the guy that really took the company under his wing. after changing the names 3 times and mergin with other companies Lewis Urry discovered the Aklaine battery but after unsuccesfull and weak marketing campaing Duracell took the market by storm.

convenient ways of life

As the world get more comfortable the marketers gets smarter so as they sell to make consumers more confortable those exact products are getting people sick because it's unnatural like cell phones and microwaves so the other market would be getting consumers a treatment for that sickness, its a win, win situation for America.

BUS 200 over powering

Today in professor Evan's class we had a class discussion on how in politics we can't have the vice president as much fame as the president because you want people to focus on you. Senator Sarah Palin is a candidate that we need to watch out for because she has the charisma, influence and leadership to steal any election

Brand Loyalty Mar 100

Brand loyalty is a Marketing concept that every consumers wishes to have but In this modern day society the educated consumer adapts to the prices and likes competition from the manufacturers because like that the consumer and customers win, it's a loose, win win, win situation.

class discussion Buss 200

In Proffesor Evans class on Thursday we took a quiz on specialty product in which in my opinion he gave a quiz mainly because questioning is the most effective way of communication( I learned that in my Business class). After the quiz we discussed about the quiz and how the product was a specialty product even though I was a little confused because it was said that it would be compared to a BMW and the Proffesor said that the product can be debatable.
