what happend in Mar 100

Today in marketing 100 we took a Midterm exam but first we had to handed out our response to the 1st midterm part. I think I did great by answering all the questions and I even reviewed it 5 times and had other colleagues revise my paper as well but the real action was the second midterm part that I took in class that kind of got me by surprise which was 50 multiple choice question T/F which I believe the professor gave us a break there because the questions was a bit difficult and I stayed up studying all night long.

what happend today in Bus class

well today we took the Midterm exam on chapter 15. I believe I did pretty well in the first part about decision making but I kind of stumbled in the second essay. What really caught me off guard was how broad our respond to the essay was to be. I had so many ideas that I couldn't put it together within the time I had left. I guess I should of wrote quicker in the first one.

Another day in the office for the nail biting U.S. economy. This time the whole world felt the devious impact as American's compared it to black Friday in 1987. I hope the economy gets better but out business philosophy must be questioned. I just hope that US treasury department Paulson knows what he is doing.

I just finished reading an article about the dilemma of bio fuel and how that might increase the world's hunger. I think that is a ideal topic to look at because as the world is suffering Americas economic crisis and the Auto Industry looking for more fuel efficient way to equip their cars nobody is never concern about how Bio Fuel is hurting farms by taking away crops that can be grown and even market food product to a lower price.

the strict laws of Dubai. personally I wouldn't think they were smart people from the beginning. A

This is no harry potter movie , Yes this is a new development that is trying to replace paper and maybe save the environment for the future by having digital paper and having all your news downloaded into one place, no more leaving paper behind as trash no more tree cutting. I think its a revolutionary idea and I hope in the future we can explore the possibility of the technology.

DIESEL FUEL?

Should we buy into this idea of dieseal fuel? I believe its a start but this is the problem, Diesel fuel cost more and it smells a lot plus it is very dirty. well if you want more mpg this is the vehicle to go because you can average high MPG especially with a V4 engine. so you folks decide.

This controversial movie is based on the real life of our current president George W. Bush and I'm not sure what this movie is about but if it's based on a true story this might tip the weight towards the democratic side and hopefully that's the case.

Microsoft and Apple have been going at it like Obama and McCain. Microsoft is proud to announce the date of a new OS that is suppose to be Vista's clean up. Windows seven is going to be similar to vista it is just going to be Vista perfected . I'm a big Microsoft fan and I just believe it is going to be a great OS based on from what I have heard from friends and program developers. it's release date suppose to be June 2009 it was originally pushed forward from 2010.

a bad idea to bring GM'S secret weapon out soo early because now their competitors will take 

advantage of that mistake. hopefully GM has a backup plan incase the Chevy Volt flocks because 

need to understand they will now be alone in the race of electric cars, the Auto Industry in 

Europe are asking the government for a similar loan as the U.S. but with a bigger budget (55) 

billion. As well they will have a bigger budget and higher standards to meet than G.M.

consumer for plugins and fully electric cars, it will vary depending or the kind of electric charge.

insurrance company called Federal deposit Insurance Company so investors would feel

comfortable investing once again because more bank failures might be expected atleast

Ka is the new version of European Ford and is taking a Big hit in the Marketing aspect because

according to the Detroit Newspaper it is taking a part of the new James Bond movie. I believe

this is a good strategy marketing because everybody loves any car in any James Bond movie.

Ka is to have it's target marketers in Europe, because according to Ford it's unlikely it will

emphasize sales in the U.S.

The first compact vehicle engineered by G.M.'s European operation. already has me thinking

if it's going to be different from the Engineering in Detroit. I think GM has taken a different

approach towards this vehicle.

Personally I don't believe the 700 billion bailout wont work because of several reasons. Now

both parties Democratic and Republicans are both infatuated with putting money back in the

economy, even though its a good Idea for now it doesn't mean is going to be a cure. Now I believe

most business should suffer for their mistakes like for example GM: they should of know that

gas prices was going to be a factor in the economy so they should of done better fuel economy

vehicles. as well for banks they should pay for their mistakes like acknowledging what bad loans

would bring them, besides most business in the U.S. cant succeed without the US government's

help. I just think they need to change the fundamentals of most business. The only good thing is

that Henry Paulson have great experience in the bank in the industry and theres not a better

man for the job.
