GM wants 100-mpg rating for '10 Volt

GM wants 100-mpg rating for '10 Volt!!

I just read an article from the Detroit newspaper about how General Motors wants its miles per

gallon to reach at least 100, I believe they are in the right track to success with this new idea

because this could be the future for GM, auto industry and for a clean environment. In the near

future Don Foley Executive director of Progressive Automotive X Prize said "Reliance on an mpg

standard alone will soon be outdated and will not accurately reflect the need for higher fuel

efficiency," he said, adding that there is a new "proposed unit of measure, MPGe -- miles per

gallon or energy equivalent" and I agree with that because I don't think we shouldn't look for a

need for gasoline at all.
